Ways to Serve
Grace runs on people who show up for one another. Most of these roles need no experience — only a willingness to be there. If something here sounds like you, reach out and we will help you find your place.
Ushers & Greeters
Welcome people as they arrive and help worship run smoothly. Training is provided.
Altar Guild
Prepare the worship space and care for the communion vessels, linens, and vestments.
Assisting Ministers
Serve alongside the pastor during the liturgy, the prayers, and communion.
Acolytes & Crucifers
Youth who assist during worship. A good first way for young people to serve.
Teaching
Lead a class for children, youth, or adults. Curriculum and materials are provided.
Care Team
Reach out to members facing illness, loss, or a hard season, so no one carries it alone.
Prayer Chain
Receive the prayer concerns of the congregation and hold them in daily prayer.
Homeless in Our Community
Collect and distribute food, clothing, and essentials for neighbors in need.
Going Deeper
Lead and Give
Lay Leadership & Council
Members who give their time to guide the work and direction of the congregation. Council positions turn over regularly, and new voices are always needed.
Give to Grace
Your generosity supports worship, faith formation, and the outreach work Grace does across Tampa. Give once or set up regular support.
